Sunday Best | 7.26.20
July has passed by so quickly for me, but I still wanted to pause for a moment a share a few things.
- Jeremy Scheck – I started following this sweet guy on TikTok and he does so many great food videos. This has been a summer of great salads, which is surprising because it is usually the one food category I can’t get right. First, there was Chrissy Tiegen’s Taco Salad, and then there was the Little Gem Salad from Union Loafers (both are linked in my last couple of posts), and now there is this hearty kale and quinoa salad. It is so good and filling, especially with some seared chicken on top.
- Modern Dating Article – This article is such a good (and quick!) read about working for a dating app when you aren’t good at dating yourself. Very interesting with insight into how people feel about the apps.
- TXT – In the month since I last did a Sunday best, my Kpop interest has stayed steady. TXT or Tomorrow X Together is from Big Hit Entertainment. The same company that brought us BTS. TXT is younger (think your younger brother and his friends) and a little poppier. When I’ve been stressed lately I watch their Cat & Dog music video in both English and Korean.
- Hidden Valley Road – Y’all, I read this book for my coworker book club and was caught off guard by how fully it sucked me in. I stayed up past 2am two nights in a row reading this one.
